if I had them for free, I still wouldn't use them. They are not just not worthy of sacrificing other classes' features for they are literally not worth the time to cast in combat. In fact, none of this game's 1st level spells are actually useful. ![]() ![]() NONE of Black Geyser's 1st level spells do any of that. And of course you can roll a fighter/mage and have these spells plus melee capability. These spells can win fights, making even a level 1 mage a formidable combatant. And clerics are not supposed to jump into the fray. There are more companions than party slots already, so if playing a cleric, you probably don't pick up Siracca but keep Helgenhar as fighter and Hamlin as thief. May be I'm playing it wrong or something? It seems like if you aren't a fighter type, you are basic SoL every fight.Īlso, I can never seem to rest/pray to get my spells back, due to getting attacked every single time I try to rest, which basically makes me a caster with no spells that melees very badly. You have no real story, nothing memorable in the landscape or scenery, classes are a joke and the entire combat system needs to be thrown out. Hey look you gain a level as a spell caster here are a few spells with about as much use as your lvl 1 snowball spell congratulations now you can do almost the dmg of a lvl 1 one handed sword and board fighter that decided to put their points in slings. Oh wait use it in a door way to cut off the enemy, guess again because they forgot that something like that would need targeting your more likely to throw it through the door as across and do nothing. Barely any spell selection and some of the most useless spells I mean really wall at lvl 1, wall? I guess i throw it out in front of me so the mobs have to walk around it sweet I slowed them down by oh wait they literally sidesteped it on the way to you. I mean did these people ever check out more then the just how other rpgs looked? I came back and tried to check out this broke game again but apparently they still haven't even hashed out the classes or if they have wtf.
